Our Practice

We are a full-service animal hospital providing comprehensive pet healthcare services in San Jose, CA. Our veterinarians offer a wide variety of medical, surgical, and dental services. Our hospital has advanced equipment and technologies, including comprehensive in-house testing for accurate diagnosis, digital x-ray, surgical suites, dental suites, and a pharmacy. We are committed to providing quality care at every stage of your pet's life. From routine preventive care to early detection and treatment of a wide range of conditions and diseases, we have the expertise to provide the highest standard of care for your pet. We also serve Santa Clara, Campbell, East Foothills, Milpitas, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Saratoga, and Los Gatos.

  • Raj Singh, DVM, MS, DABVP

    Medical Director + Veterinarian

    Dr. Raj Singh was born in Chicago and grew up in Indiana, where he attended Purdue University. He received his bachelor’s degree in 1986, his veterinary degree in 1990, and then continued his training for another year, completing a master’s degree in animal physiology in 1991. He then moved to California and has worked at several Bay Area animal hospitals. In 2002, he attained his career-long dream of owning his own veterinary practice when he and his wife Melissa purchased Sunnyvale Veterinary Clinic. In 2013, he achieved another long-term career goal by becoming board-certified in Canine and Feline Practice after an extensive application and examination process through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners.

    Dr. Singh is a board-certified specialist in canine and feline practice. He also works (as a general practitioner) with rabbits, small mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians.

    Dr. Singh enjoys being active in the local veterinary community. He is a Past President of the Santa Clara Valley Veterinary Medical Association and was also on the advisory committee for the San Jose Animal Care center while they planned their expansion. He has given presentations at several local schools to educate young people about the veterinary profession.

    Dr. Singh lives in San Jose, and when he is not busy at the clinic or with his volunteer work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Melissa and their two daughters, running with their two dogs Lacey and Howie, or relaxing with their three cats Lily, Teddy and Zara. He also enjoys cycling with San Jose Bicycle Club, competing in triathlons, mountain biking, and swimming.

  • Elinor Griscom, DVM

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Griscom grew up in Lexington, Massachusetts, and attended Princeton University for her undergraduate degree. She then went on to Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1991. She worked as a full-time veterinarian until 1995, when she started her family with her husband Tom and began working part time. She began working with Dr. Singh at Sunnyvale Veterinary Clinic in 2005, where she worked part-time until joining us at Oakridge Veterinary Clinic in 2018.

    She has two sons and two cats, Theo and Pete. Outside of veterinary work and family time, Dr. Griscom plays tennis and sings classical music.

    Dr. Griscom enjoys working with dogs, cats, rabbits, and “pocket pets.”

  • Lisa Moore, DVM

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Lisa Moore was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, and earned her undergraduate degree from Tufts University in Massachusetts. Finding Massachusetts too cold for her liking, she relocated to California to attend the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1993. She worked full time in San Jose from 1993-2000 including several years with Dr. Singh.

    In 2000, her first daughter was born and she began working part-time. She now has two daughters and lives in Sunnyvale and enjoys spending a few days each month at Oakridge Veterinary Clinic.

    Dr. Moore works with dogs, cats, rabbits, and small mammals.

    Dr. Moore’s hobbies include gardening, photography, volunteering at her daughter’s school, and spending time with her family and pets.

  • Jazmin Munoz Gonzalez, DVM

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Jazmin Munoz Gonzalez is a San Jose native who graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021 with a minor in Spanish and Public Health. On her path to becoming a veterinarian, she worked as a Veterinary Assistant and volunteered at the Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley, the Oakland Zoo, and the San Jose Animal Shelter.

    Growing up, Dr. Munoz had a Chihuahua that contracted Parvo. With the support of the veterinarian and treatments performed on her pet, Dr. Munoz knew that she wanted to become a veterinarian herself. What Dr. Munoz enjoys most about being a veterinarian is the relationships she builds with the clients and their pets. She particularly enjoys when clients come in with their new pets and provides support and guidance for their new addition to grow and stay healthy.

    When Dr. Munoz is not working, she enjoys visiting the beach, shopping, and spending time with her fiancé Juan and her family’s 3 dogs and cat.

  • Nily Keramat, DVM

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Nily Keramat grew up in San Jose and had always known she wanted to be a veterinarian. She started out volunteering at many different animal shelters throughout high school until she attended University of California Davis for her undergraduate degree where she studied Animal Science. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in many programs abroad to help pets in communities from different countries. Shortly after, she went on to UC Davis Veterinary School to obtain her veterinary degree.

    At home, she lives with her rabbit named Pambeh, her cat named Chester, and her German Shepherd named Joey. In her free time she loves to go hiking, camping, and playing ice hockey. Being from San Jose originally, she is a huge Sharks fan and loves going to Sharks games.

  • Leanna Boyd, DVM

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Leanna Boyd was born and raised in San Jose, California and graduated from Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. She has an interest in exotic and wildlife medicine and prior to and during veterinary school she volunteered and completed multiple externships with organizations including The Marine Mammal Center, the Oakland Zoo, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and the South Florida Wildlife Center.

    Dr. Boyd spent the last year completing a rotating small animal internship in Hollywood, Florida where she learned emergency and urgent care medicine for dogs and cats. She was fortunate enough to continue her passion for exotic and wildlife medicine during her internship through rotations with Zoo Miami and a private practice in South Florida that specialized in exotics. After completing her internship, she has moved back to California with her husband Kody and is excited to get back to outdoor activities (no more Florida humidity!) like hiking, camping, paddle boarding, going to festivals (art and wine, renaissance, etc.) and spending time with friends and family.

    Dr. Boyd works with dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles, and avian species. Her hobbies include reading (historical fiction, fantasy, and science fiction), going to the beach, playing board games, exercising, outdoor activities and going out to eat with loved ones. She has two dogs- a very spoiled dachshund and a one-eyed chihuahua.

    I have been working at Oakridge since 2020 as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). I have been an RVT for 5 years and I graduated from Carrington College. Aside from working with animals, I like to workout and do Muay Thai competitively. My favorite part of working at OVC is handling feisty and grumpy animals.

    Aaron is a San Jose native and has been with Oakridge since 2020. Aaron graduated from Carrington College in 2015 with an Associates degree and obtained his license as a registered veterinary technician in the same year. In his spare time, he likes to play video games, spend time with his three dogs and competes as an amateur Muay Thai kickboxer.

    Hola! My Name is Elsa and I am OVC’s Practice Manager. I have over 10years in the veterinary field and I have a passion for business and animals. On my down time you can find me at the gym getting for my next marathon race and keeping my 4year old active in Tball, swim class, and MMA.

    My career with animals began at 15 years old as a dog trainer, I was fortunate enough to be licensed with the AKC which allowed me to expand my knowledge in Animal Behavior and better adapt my training skills. I’ve been involved with many rescues such as Mickaboo, in fostering birds, and at SJACC training dogs in basic obedience. I do own a little zoo at home, from dogs, birds, fish, turtle and snakes. Currently I am attending Foothill College and will be graduating with my Veterinary Technology Degree in June 2023. During my down time, I enjoy going on hike or to the beach and exploring different boba shops!

    I graduated in 2022 from Foothill College with a degree in Veterinary Technology and became licensed in September. I’ve wanted to work with all types of animals since I was very young. At the moment I have 2 adult cats (Maleficent and Gizmo Duck) and 2 senior dogs (Teddy Bear and Kairi). Based on the picture, it’s easy to see that I love Disney. I’ve been a Disneyland passholder for years and try to go about once a month. I am also an avid reader and love to play video games with my family and friends.

    Hi my name is Jenny, I am originally from Stockton, CA and have been living in the bay for 5 years. I started working at OVC as a receptionist and now currently working as a vet assistant. I have two chiweenies, Honey (mom) and Brownie (daughter). What I enjoy most working at OVC is working with fearful pets and gaining their trust. Outside of work, I like trying new food places I discover from tik tok.

    My name is Joselyn and I’ve been at OVC for 2 years I started as a receptionist but moved to the back to be a vet assistant and I love it. The puppies and kittens are fun but being able to make a furry friend feel better is a feeling like no other. I have 1 dog (Honey) 1 cat (Hazel) and 2 Guinea pigs (Beans and Frijolito). When I’m not at work I enjoy going to the beach and spending time with friends and family.

Outside of work, I also work alongside my dad, installing granite and tile. I also like to go hiking and get lost in the wilderness.

Lyla is my grumpy lady cat & Tito is my recent baby dog. In my free time, I enjoy spoiling my Lyla with scratches & cuddles & spoiling my Tito with hikes & adventures. Outside of them, I enjoy trying new eating places, self walks/hikes & spending time with my loved ones.

    Alejandra has been in the vet field for 1 year. Alejandra started off in the vet field by working with exotics only but was interested in working with cats and dogs as well which brought her to us. She has one cat named Tom and a red eared slider named Roka. She enjoys visiting her family and spending time at home watching shows.
